My experience of having part time work in Superdrug has strengthened skills that are critical for a degree and career in biomedical science. Retail has taught me how to communicate effectively, attention to detail, think quickly to resolve problems which are all skills I know are vital in the lab and research facilities. The ability to balance my part time job with school and other responsibilities has shown me the true importance of having time management and organisation which will help me succeed in a biomedical science programme.
