 Here are some notes to help your team prepare for our launch on [***LAUNCH DATE***]!

 - Complete final edits/testing
- Receive your sign-off on our launch approval form

- We'll do final checks and make backup copies of your current and new websites for safety
- We'll test your website address with the new server location before making the switch
- We'll redirect your website address to point to your new Kinsta website server
- While the DNS propagates, some users will see your current website and others will see the new website 
- Once everyone can see the new website, we'll do final security checks and performance improvements
 Your action items for launch day are:

- DNS Propagation can take up to 24-48 hours; however, we typically see it take about one hour. This timing is out of our control but we will monitor it and keep you updated on the progress.
- Confirm all contact form tests make it safely to your inbox. It's very common for emails from a new server to be flagged as spam, so we always test and confirm that the emails are working correctly on launch day so you don't miss any new leads. 
- Celebrate!
 [BOLD] Additional Tips to Prepare for a Smooth Launch:[BOLD]
 - Notify any stakeholders on your team that the site will not be available to view/edit during launch.  
- Refrain from announcing the launch to your customers until after the site is confirmed live and has been tested. We recommend marketing the launch 1-2 days after the new site is live.
- Create a plan with your team for after-hours emergencies. While these situations are rare, it's great to be prepared! WebFX cannot guarantee 24/7 support, but we do our best to be available. If there is an emergency outside of normal business hours, you can try calling 717-609-0360 - option 2. Opening a support ticket with your hosting account can be great in a pinch as well!

 After launch, we have a built in grace period of [**---3 DAYS (express) / 15 DAYS (standard)***] where WebFX can continue to make small design and development updates within the project scope.
